I was assigned to write an approximately 800 word story about trucks in Oklahoma by my long time editor at Oklahoma Living Magazine. After some discussion, we decided to focus the story on how Oklahoma electric coop members use their pickup trucks for work and play. I already had the photos in my archives from previous work, and contacted the owners of the trucks to interview them for the story.
