Martha, Oklahoma is located just north of Altus. I was there recently to photograph an editorial magazine assignment and the abandoned school caught my eye. I spent a couple of days photographing the wheat harvest in the area for Oklahoma Today Magazine, and once I was done I stopped by the school to grab a picture with my Toyo VX-125 4×5 film camera. I really liked how the trees framed the building and the old derelict station wagon was parked right in front of the door. This would make an awesome haunted house or movie set!
