Another day, another 4×5 photo. As with yesterday, I shot this picture while driving home from an assignment in Braman, Oklahoma. This picture is in the tiny town of Deer Creek, east of Enid. Now my son went to Deer Creek High School in Edmond, but that is just a school district, not a town. I didn’t realize there was actually a town called Deer Creek. Not really much of a town left. The downtown area is pretty dilapidated, although there is a grade school and small post office. It looks like this was once the general store in town but has been abandoned for some time now.
