Sixty days. Doesn’t sound like much, but for me that is at least 60 sheets of 4×5 film and probably close to 60 hours of work on this project in two months! Whew, only 305 more days to go.
Today I bring you a picture from a recent back road trip from Guthrie to Stillwater to Cushing and back to Guthrie. This old thresher/combine was sitting in a freshly mowed pasture just west of Highway 177. I put my tripod and camera on the other side of a barbed wire fence, leaned over, and capture this photo. This time I did not use the red filter and I think I like the results a bit better. The picture has more detail and even though the skies are blown out, I think the detail and clarity in the photo makes up for the lackluster sky.
