Now for some people in my 4×5 film shots. I LOVE shooting people. Nearly all my commercial and editorial work involves photographing people. Today is my photo of my wife Kay and her friend Connie Hamilton on our recent ski trip to Red River, New Mexico. Kay (right) is an expert level skier. I can hang with her except when we hit the double black diamonds of death slopes, where she just bops away from my while I am trying not die.
I shot this right before they jumped on the lifts in the morning. I had skied the day before but has heading out to shoot with my view camera and grabbed this photo of them before I left. I quickly set up my Toyo VX-125 4×5 film camera with my Rodenstock 135 mm lens and loaded a sheet of Kodak TMAX-100 film.
