Meet Marilyn Beitler – Queen Dirt Diva. Yes, this is THE Marilyn from Ajax Motorcycles. I have known Marilyn and Denny Beitler since the early 1980’s when I purchase my first Husquavarna motorcycle through them, back when Ajax Cycle was located in a strip mall on 89th Street in south OKC. Over the years they built up their dealership, became a Kawasaki and KTM dealer, and pretty well introduced KTM to central Oklahoma, sponsored a lot of off-road races, and eventually sold their dealership and retired. Denny took up mountain biking a few years ago and Marilyn joined him recently and eventually started inviting other women to ride with her – hence the Dirt Diva’s. They are both pretty fun to bicycle with and very friendly folks. I talked Marilyn into posing for this picture in front of my Toyo VX-125 film camera in mid-December 2017 and shot this sheet of Kodak TMAX-100 film. One-shot, one picture.
