I am constantly reminded that “great subjects make for great photos.” I recently went to my nephew’s sixth birthday party – a fishing party – with plans to grab a few close-ups of him. I don’t get to see him all that often and wanted a bit more than just cell phone photos, so I grabbed my Nikon Z6 and my 80-200 lens and focused on getting a closeup of him. It was hot outside. I really liked how these turned out.
