I took this photo of Micha Young with my Toyo VX-125 back in 2015 when I first started my 4x5x365 project – notice the fake border, before I was able to wet scan the entire film. I am not sure why I didn’t include it back at the start – probably because I had so many great photos of her that I didn’t want to be repetitive. I shot this in the studio on a white background with studio lights. I set the shot up and tested with my digital camera, then shot a few frames with my 4×5 view camera. This one turned out fantastic. I liked the mood created by the lights and of course Micha always makes for a great subject.
