I had loaded my trailer with some scrap metal from an old swimming pool we were replacing, and as I drove past the garage, I stopped, ran inside, and grabbed my Nikon F3HP camera loaded with Kodak TMAX-400 film and a 50mm F1.2 Nikkor lens. My wife Kay said “Why do you need your camera? I thought you were going to the scrap yard.”
I told Kay “Because I am going to the SCRAP YARD!!!”
I was like a little kid going to the toy store. I knew some good pictures lay ahead, and I felt they would be perfectly captured on Kodak film.
