At least I got one decent 4×5 large-format film picture at the start of the Mid-South gravel bike race. I was fairly happy with this photo. It shows the smoke from the pyrotechnics at the start of the race. As usual with a 4×5 monorail camera with no viewfinder, I had to set up where I thought the action might be can wait until the riders came by to snap my shutter.
