I love taking portraits of people. It is my favorite type of photography. It requires me to get out of my comfort zone and ask people if I can take their photos. Not an easy thing, but if I want cool photos, I gotta ask. This guy was quiet and didn’t say anything when I asked to take his photo. He just sort of grunted and nodded and moved at my direction where I could see his horse a bit better. I wasn’t going to ask him to do much posing since I figured he would just grunt and leave and I wouldn’t get anything. So I shot this quick and ended up liking the shot.
