A few years ago I had the opportunity to photograph Oklahoma State Senator Mike Schulz at his cotton farm in southwest Oklahoma. I drove down early so we could catch the first light at his farm. I always enjoy getting to know politicians. Most of them are pretty normal people just doing a job to serve their communities.
