I used my Nikon 300mm F5.6 large-format lens to take this picture on my Toyo View VX-125 film camera. I shot it wide open at F5.6 and you can notice the very narrow depth of field with the 300mm lens. It is interesting to note that the depth of field is the same for any 300 mm lens shot at F5.6, despite the fact that this is a large-format image shot with a 4×5 view camera. The sensor is bigger than my Nikon Z9, but the physics of light are the same regardless of the sensor or film size.
