I shot this 4×5 film image of my long-time friend and fellow photographer Doug Hoke, who has been the chief photographer at The Oklahoman for several decades. Doug knows more about photography than most people know about themselves. He now likes to shoot Canon mirrorless cameras with older vintage lenses and put his well-honed manual lens focusing skills to work. I used my Toyo View VX-125 large-format film camera for this shot, with my Nikon 300mm F5.6 large-format lens shooting on Ilford Delta Pro 100 film.
