I love this photo of a Matchless motorcycle that I took at the American Historic Motorcycle Racing Association even in Henrietta, Oklahoma recently. I might have to print this and mount it in my shop.

I wanted a clean background for this photo so asked the owner to roll this bike out into the road for this photo with my Toyo View VX-125 4″x5″ large-format film camera. I shot this on Ilford Delta Pro 100 film. It is one of my favorite photos from the event.

This photo was a bit less stressful to capture than the one at the starting line in front of the racers. They were waiting on their heat and I wasn’t in their way for the start, so no pressure. I like the start line and start sign in the background.
