Fortinet SD-WAN and the TIC 3.0 standard allows federal agencies to move from a hub-and-spoke network to a much faster software-defined network at a much lower cost. Best part is that SD-WAN capabilities is included with every Fortigate firewall.
I made progress today on setting up my Docker images to push to my Amazon Lightsail VPN, thanks to the help from my son who does this stuff all the time.
After being out of the IT world for about 5 years, I was amazed that setting up a VPN tunnel between two different vendor’s firewalls is still just as maddeningly frustrating as it was 5 years ago. Why haven’t we standardized VPN terminology yet?
