Motorcycles

Motorcycles have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started riding as a teenager, and it’s been my favorite hobby ever since. My wife, Kay, rides. Both of our kids ride. It’s more than just a passion—it’s a way of life.

I love all kinds of motorcycles—cruisers, dirt bikes, choppers, drag bikes, and everything in between. But my absolute favorite kind of riding is exploring the back roads of Oklahoma and the surrounding states on a dual-sport bike. There’s something about winding down dirt roads, far from the noise of the city, that never gets old. I often camp along the way, taking in the solitude and the scenery, with nothing but my bike, the open road, and the sky overhead.

One of the things I enjoy most about these rides is meeting people in remote rural areas. Every stop is a chance to hear a new story, learn about a way of life different from my own, and connect with people who might otherwise go unnoticed. That’s where my camera comes in. I always bring it along, ready to capture the landscapes, the bikes, and—most importantly—the people I meet. Motorcycling isn’t just about the ride; it’s about the experience, the connections, and the stories along the way.

Through my photography, I try to capture the essence of this world—the freedom of the open road, the grit of a well-worn bike, the character of the people who ride. Whether I’m blasting down a dirt trail or pulling into a small-town gas station, my passion for motorcycles and photography always go hand in hand.
